In this communication report, the Special Rapporteur on the right to health mentions an allegation of ill-treatment including denial of the right to health of a drug-dependent person living with HIV, tuberculosis and Hepatitis C. The complainant was arrested for drug possession, he was beaten by the officers and he was denied antiretroviral medication while in custody.
