The Committee issued these concluding observations after reviewing Turkey’s first periodic report on implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights in 2011. In paragraph 33, the Committee asks Turkey to include in its next periodic report detailed information on, among other things, the ‘availability and accessibility of substitute-substance treatment for addiction’ and the opening of new treatment centres.
