The Committee released these concluding observations after reviewing Luxembourg’s second periodic report in 1997. In paragraph 396, the Committee notes concern at health problems due to drug use among adolescents, as well as the high rate of suicide among youth. In paragraph 405, the Committee recommends that Luxembourg ‘continue its efforts to prevent and combat drug abuse and suicide among the youth’.
