In 1990, the Committee reviewed the second periodic report of Cyprus concerning articles 10-12 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. During the session, the Committee requested information concerning the country’s services for people suffering from AIDS as well as for ‘disadvantaged groups’ (paragraph 74). The Committee also sought statistical information concerning drug addiction and drug treatment centres in Cyprus (paragraph 74).
