UN Human Rights Committee: Concluding Observations on Kuwait (2011)

In the concluding observations on the second periodic report of Kuwait, the Committee noted that notwithstanding the fact that the State party implemented a de facto moratorium on executions, there remain a high number of persons on death row and a large number of offences for which the death penalty can be imposed, including drug related crimes.
