UN Human Rights Committee: Concluding Observations on Kuwait (2000)

In the concluding observations on the initial report of Kuwait, the Committee expressed serious concerns towards the use of the death penalty for a large number of offences, including drug related crime. The Committee recommended the State ensure the death penalty is reserved only for the most serious crimes and to consider its abolition altogether.
