The applicant, Mr. Januz Dervishi, Croatian national, was arrested in May 2008 on suspicion of drug trafficking. His pre-trial detention was extended several times, and he was released in February 2012. His criminal proceedings remain pending. Mr. Dervishi complains that the length of his pre-trial detention was excessive.
