UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, Concluding Observations on Namibia (2012)

The Committee issued these concluding observations in 2012 after its consideration of the periodic reports of Namibia. It expresses concerns regarding the high incidence of drug and alcohol abuse among adolescents, recommending the State to ensure rehabilitation services, including access to treatment, counseling, recovery and reintegration for children who use drugs (paragraphs 57 & 58).
