UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, Concluding Observations on Guinea (2013)

The Committee issued these concluding observations in 2013 after its consideration of the periodic report of Guinea. It notes the lack of information on key health issues affecting adolescents, including substance abuse and HIV/AIDS. It recommends the State to raise awareness on these issues and develop specialized and youth-friendly drug-dependence treatment and harm-reduction services for children and young people (paragraphs 67&68).
