The Committee issued these concluding observations in 2013 after its consideration of the periodic report of Slovenia. It expresses concerns regarding the abuse of drugs and other substances among adolescents, as well as tobacco and alcohol consumption.
It recommends the State party to take measures to decrease and prevent adolescents’ tobacco and alcohol consumption as well as drug and substance abuse, by raising awareness on the negative impact of these habits on their lifestyle. (paragraphs 54& 55)
