This report focuses on the lethal autonomous robotics (LARs) which raise concerns about the protection of life during war and peace. It is mentioned that LARs could be used by States to suppress domestic enemies and to terrorize the population at large, suppress demonstrations and fight “wars” against drugs. However, there are various concerns related to their use, including if they could comply with the requirements of international humanitarian law and international human rights law.
