This report contains the findings and recommendations of the Special Rapporteur on his mission to Mexico. He expresses concerns about the high number of violations of the right to life directed against vulnerable groups within the country, resulted from drug trafficking and the war on drugs against the drug cartels (among other factors).
He is also alarmed that the security forces believe that a solution to fight organized crime is to let the members of drug cartels kill one another.
