This report presents the summaries of cases transmitted to the Governments and the replies received from them. In relation to drug issues, the report mentions allegations of death penalties for drug-related offences in Singapore and China, the execution of at least 50 people in China to mark the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, death in custody of a person charged with drug trafficking in Egypt and of a person accused with drugs possession in Pakistan and force-feeding of drugs of a prisoner in China.
