This report presents the findings and recommendations of the Working Group on its mission to Peru. It notes that those convicted of drug trafficking are considered dangerous and are housed in the same high security prison with terrorists. Furthermore, accused and convicted persons are not separated, which is contrary to the UN Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners.
