Report of the Special Rapporteur on the rights of indigenous peoples: The status of indigenous peoples’ rights in Panama, James Anaya (2014)

This report notes that Panama recognizes the competence of indigenous judges to judge crimes in their region and in accordance with indigenous law, except for certain crimes, including homicide, drug-related crimes, and organized crime.
