Mexican authorities implicated in violence, but U.S. security aid still flows, Cora Currier, Jesse Franzblau (2015)

The article focuses on the human rights abuses (unlawful killings, physical abuse, torture and disappearances) which take place in Mexico as a result of the funding given by the US to fight the war on drugs. Even if the US authorities are aware of the relation between their support and these violations, they keep providing the Mexican authorities with equipment, training and intelligence gathering- technology.
