The International Criminal Court, Drug Trafficking and Crimes against Humanity: A local Interpretation of the Rome Statute, Sainz-Borgo, Juan Carlos (2012)

In March 2000, the Supreme Court of Venezuela upheld an interpretation of international to include drug trafficking as a crime against humanity.  This article examines the implication local interpretations of international criminal law may have for the future of the ICC.
