This 2012 documentary, from filmmaker, Eugene Jarecki, profiles the devastating social and economic impact of the failing War on Drugs in America.  Candid interviews with leading law enforcement and civil rights activists reveal a growing consensus that the disproportionate impact this government policy has had on poor Americans as well as the African-American community has reached a breaking point and new, innovative and viable ways to address the problem are examined.

The film was critically acclaimed upon release and was the recipient of the Grand Jury Prize: Documentary at the Sundance Film Festival.
